The relative flat landscape of Belconnen allows the student to bicycle to the surrounding areas with relative ease. This proves to be an environmentally friendly and cheap form of transport. It also provides for great exercise. UniGardens does not supply bicycles to students however there a number of bicycle stores you can go to purchase one.

Calvary Hospital

Located 1.6km away from UniGardens, it is both public and private. Residents nearby are able to use the facility for a large number of conditions such as in-patient services, ambulatory care and outreach facilities and services including emergency.
